Today was promotion day for karate. All three of my kiddos made it to high green belts. They do a 90 minute presentation showing the parents the skills they have learned. Then we all move to another room and they have to break a board.

Jayson was the first kid to go — he broke the board in one kick:

Then Quisha got to go — she got it in four kicks:

Cauner went last (now last promotion he didn’t get to break a board) so he was excited to be able do it this time. Only problem is he wasn’t putting enough force into his kicks — but his instructor is so patient with him — he set the board up against the wall and had Cauner stomp on it:

I am so proud of all them — they’ve worked really hard.
